If you are seeking some type of change in the way that your landscape looks then it is always crucial to consult a professional grading contractor to do an assessment of the area. Because grading involves many changes in the physical look of the land, careful planning and implementation is key. San Tan Valley Landscaping – Grading Division will ensure that everything is taken care of when it comes to properly grading your land. We are experienced professionals.
Rough grading is the very first thing to kick off your land development. It’s the process of “roughly” shaping your site. The rough graders will move a lot of dirt around in order to create flat, leveled pads. During this time, the graders are also responsible for installing proper drainage to control/divert storm water that comes through your site. This is so your site won’t get flooded or damaged in any way.
The finish grader will be your first “finish” trade in because he has to cut and prep the grade for the flatwork and landscape. Final grade will occur after the house is completely built. Finish grading puts the final touches on the site. The finish grader will fine-tune the final elevation by either removing or adding more dirt (anywhere between 1” – 2” typically). The finish grader is also responsible for prepping and making the subgrade for all the landscaping in the common areas throughout the tract.
